What Can You Do To Help?

There are many different ways to help with La Puente Events, perhaps the simplest being to come to them! We regularly hold Open Mic Nights, Documentary Screenings, fundraisers, dinners, and many other fun, educational, community-building events that are only as successful as the amount of people who come to them. Check out our Events Calendar or contact the Office of Communications & Engagement to learn more about upcoming events. Many of our events also require help from community volunteers; if you're interested in helping out with a specific event, call 587-3499.

We also frequently look for community partners to co-sponsor events with us. Previous partners include Adams State University and Valley-Wide Health Systems, as well as community members. If you are interested in co-sponsoring a new or existing event, please call 587-3499.

In addition to the events that we already host, we are always looking for new ideas to engage with the Alamosa community in fun, educational, and constructive ways. If you have an idea for an event that La Puente might be interested, call 587-3499 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
