La Puente is always happy to welcome community volunteers in its mission of service to the San Luis Valley. There are many different ways volunteers can share their talents, skills, and energy, either on a one-time or longer-term basis. Possible activities include preparing a meal at the shelter, sorting clothes at Rainbow’s End, leading a life skills session, or providing office assistance.

To begin serving as a community volunteer, just fill out our simple application (available below or by stopping in our Volunteer Coordination and Community Education office) and turn it in to the coordinator of community volunteers in our office at 317 State Ave. Once you have completed the application, we'll gladly get you set up with a volunteer opportunity that matches your skills and interests!
